The Kerala chapter of The Association of Surgeons of India is an association representing general surgery and all its related specialities throughout the state of Kerala. With a membership of more than 1200 it happens to be the largest and only professional body of surgeons of the state of Kerala. The ASI Kerala Chapter is a scientific and educational association of surgeons founded to improve the quality of care for the surgical patient by setting high standards for surgical education and practice. The founding principle of the Association is "The advancement of the science and art of surgery and the promotion of friendship amongst surgeons.
